Teens For Haiti

Teens For Haiti operates under Help Brings Hope for Haiti with a purpose of raising money to fund specific needs of the people of St. Suzanne, Haiti.

In March 2012, a group of teenagers from Christ the King Church in Tampa went on a mission trip to St. Suzanne, Haiti. During their stay the only source of electricity for the entire village, one generator, broke down and could not be repaired.

The teens saw firsthand that the power supply was the only source of electricity to keep the computer lab running. To the people of St. Suzanne, computers mean communication, future jobs, and independence. Upon their return, the teens started Teens For Haiti and began fundraising to purchase a new generator.
